Online Initial Assessment
Your first appointment takes place online, no travelling required at a time when leaving the house can feel like a feat in itself. This is where we get to know each other and I build a clear picture of what's going on for you: your daily routines, your energy levels, what's feeling hard, and what you most need support with. It sets the foundation for everything that follows, so the support you receive is tailored to your life, not a generic checklist.

Home Visit
I come to you, in your actual space, so the support I give is practical and realistic - not one-size-fits-all advice.

Occupational Therapy is grounded in real life which means seeing your actual environment matters.

During the home visit I come to you, in your space, with your baby and your routines around you. This allows me to offer recommendations that are genuinely practical: how your home is set up, equipment that could help, and strategies that work for the reality of your day including getting rest, not an idealised version of it, like “sleep when the baby is sleeping”.

Online Follow-Up Appointments × 2

Support doesn't stop after the home visit. Two follow-up appointments are included to review what's working, troubleshoot what isn't, and adjust the plan as your baby grows and your needs evolve. You'll leave each session with something concrete to take into the week ahead.

The “Supported Beginnings Programme” includes two home visits, one in pregnancy to prepare you and your home environment to welcome your baby, taking into consideration any additional supports you may benefit from to care for your baby within your own physical capabilities. We can practice childcare tasks (using a doll) like trialing modified ways of carrying, changing, comforting, feeding your new baby, using a car seat, getting out of your home or navigating public transport, according to your preferences.

A second home visit is included after baby has arrived, to consolidate your caring techniques and build on your confidence in parenting as safely and as independently as possible.

“I can’t thank you enough, I read all the books, but none of them had your X Factor … the kindness and guidance when I was doubting myself and feeling not me.”

“We’re on a better path now, and I’m feeling so much happier, that I’m becoming the mum I hoped I’d be”
